We have caught up with background processes, so emails and other processes run in the background should not experience any further delays.
We will continue monitoring this to make sure that the incident doesn't recur.

Cloudflare reports that they've implemented a fix and resolved the issue. Service should be returning for any affected users. We'll continue to monitor the platform.

Our servers running background tasks have successfully processed the jobs queue and are currently operating without delays.
The upstream issue at AWS is still unresolved, so we'll continue monitoring if there are any further impacts on the platform.
